Consultations
The Countryside Vet is a mobile service offering routine at-home consultation appointments. We can:
- Perform a thorough and stress free clinical examination
- Offer extensive and experienced advice
- Administer & prescribe a variety of medication
- Perform minor procedures (e.g. taking a blood sample)
If your pet has an ongoing condition, these can often be managed with much less stress in the patient's home environment particularly if regular vet visits are required (depending on the condition). If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us to see if this is an appropriate option for your pet.
We will bring all the necessary equipment and medication we need with us. If your pet requires something we do not carry in stock, then we will order it and arrange delivery as soon as possible.
As a single handed vet offering a mobile service, we are unable to provide you with the number of services/facilities that are typically available at a full-service practice. As such, to ensure the best for you and your animal, you must also be registered with a primary ‘bricks and mortar’ practice to provide the facilities and equipment that your pet may need (for example surgery, hospitalisation, xrays, ultrasound, etc) if/when your animal is unwell and requires more than the basic emergency first aid and pain relief that we can offer. You are welcome to chose whichever primary ‘bricks and mortar’ practice you prefer, but to ensure we fulfil all the requirements your pet needs, we work closely with Arun Veterinary Group in Chichester to ensure your pets 24/7 provisions are met.
