Consultations
The Countryside Vet is a mobile service offering routine at-home consultation appointments. We can:
- Perform a thorough and stress free clinical examination
- Offer extensive and experienced advice
- Administer & prescribe a variety of medication
- Perform minor procedures (e.g. taking a blood sample)
If your pet has an ongoing condition, these can often be managed with much less stress in the patient's home environment particularly if regular vet visits are required (depending on the condition). If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us to see if this is an appropriate option for your pet.
We will bring all the necessary equipment and medication we need with us. If your pet requires something we do not carry in stock, then we will order it and arrange delivery as soon as possible.
As a single-handed vet offering a mobile service, there may be some circumstances where we are unable to provide you with the number of services/facilities that are typically available at a full-service practice. As such, we have partnered with The Lighthouse 24/7 A&E Pet Hospital (01243 765 247) who will provide the facilities and equipment that your pet may need 24/7 (for example surgery, hospitalisation, diagnostic imaging, etc) if/when your animal requires more than the ‘at home’ care we can provide, or if we are unable to meet your pets needs in a time-appropriate manner in urgent situations. You are still however welcome to also be registered with any primary care ‘bricks and mortar’ practice of your choosing.
